Initiatives You Can Support

The UCR Athletics department has demonstrated remarkable resilience and adaptability. The last four years have seen tremendous success and historic wins in competition and excellence in the classroom.

Together, we can ensure this upward trajectory continues, and elevate our capacity to expand opportunities for excellence for our exceptional Division I student-athletes.

Student-Athlete Experience

Our focus is creating conditions for our student-athletes to be successful. Our partners can help us ensure that they have consistent access to the resources needed for all their pursuits, including:

  • Meals and nutrition
  • Mental health
  • Sports medicine
  • Academic success
  • And more

World-Class Facilities

Maintaining a competitive edge requires the right facilities and equipment. Partner with us to reinvigorate old structures and optimize training and competition spaces.

  • Specialized training and performance equipment
  • World-class strength and conditioning support
  • Locker rooms
  • Training facilities
  • Scoreboards
  • And more

Advancing Athletics Excellence

Our priority remains recruiting top talent for each of our 17 teams.

Your support can ensure all teams are fully funded and poised for competitive recruitment as we build and elevate our Athletics profile on campus, locally, regionally, and nationally.

Our historic success in recent years is just the beginning of what Athletics sees as an ongoing rise in competitive edge for UCR Athletics.

Academic Success

All 17 teams boast GPAs above 3.0 over the past two years, and in 2023 alone, 180+ of our student athletes earned Big West Commissioner Honor Roll recognition.

Your support can expand the academic scholarship support available to student-athletes in their scholastic commitments.

Operational Stability

To maximize the talent and resources in our Athletics program, we aim to establish a strategic and sustainable revenue generation strategy.

Your strategic partnership with UCR Athletics can support the buildout of stronger operational structures to capture all revenue opportunities available to the department, and further our competitive edge.

Inclusive & Supportive Environment

We are intentional in our approach to fostering a culture that is inclusive, caring, and listening. We are focused on creating the conditions for success for our student-athletes, coaches and staff.

Our people are the key to our success and your investment in the people of UCR Athletics can ensure expanded resources for positive and productive results across the department.

We’re not just focused on winning on the field, court, track or course.

Generous community members like you help us ensure holistic success for our student-athletes — in the classroom, with the campus community, and with our stakeholders. We’re excited to partner with you to continue investing in the people that make UCR Athletics an exceptional athletics program as we continue to rise on the national and international stage.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE WITH ATHLETICS

Thank you. Donors have not only allowed me to play the game I love at the collegiate level but also be able to complete my degree and make real change in the world.
